After several attempts to get a group picture with Grandma, Grandpa, and all the grandkids and great grandkids…this is what we got. (I’ll bring the tripod next time I visit!)
Meet Chippy. He’s magic. Every night after bedtime, he flies home to the North Pole to tell Santa if Elora should be on the naughty or nice list. He flies back home before she wakes up, always landing in a new place. Elora gets a kick out of looking for him in the morning. I get a kick out of saying things like “Elora, Chippy saw that.” or “You better stop or Chippy will tell Santa.” and “Lets clean up this mess, Chippy will see how nice and helpful you are”
Nigerian Dwarf Goats. My parents just got 3. They were only planning on getting one (they were recently told by a tax assessor that if they were to get a small farm animal like a sheep or goat, they would qualify for some sort of agricultural exemption and save money on their property taxes.), but these came as a set. The goats were raised together and I think their previous owner stay them to stay that way.
This particular breed of goats are known for being very gentle and trainable-they make great pets. I took the kids to go see them and I absolutely agree- these guys are so tame! They love to be petted and will “baa” at you when you walk away from them because they want you to stay. Also Vincent and goats are the same exact same age. They will all turn 2 in February.
Vincent was a little apprehensive at first. But got comfortable with them after a little while.
This one is named Simon.
This is Rusty.
Rusty really like Elora’s hat and kept trying to eat it. .
and This one is Emily.
