Back from CA!

We went to California for 10 days. It was lots of fun and the weather was great, usually high 70's to 80 everyday. Elora got to spend some quality time with her Nana and Grandpa, it'd been a whole year since they'd seen her last. I have a ton of pictures to post. One of the highlights was going to The Living Desert. (Basically the Zoo without any of the cold weather animals). She liked the petting zoo area with the sheep's and goats.

Elora is a big fan of trains.

Here is a picture of her with Grandpa at the train exhibit they had set up there.
My favorite part was the Butterfly Gardens. butterfly gardens
Here's Elora trying to get a closer look.

We also went to the local Children's Museum.

We took a trip up to the mountains in Palm Springs
Wow what a beautiful place!

Here is the tram. You ride it up approx 8500 feet. The top of the mountain is Mount San Jacinto State Park. It's gorgeous up there!

We also did some celebrating.

There was the annual Delgadillo Family Thanksgiving. I think close to 100 people were there in attendance. Also we had an early birthday party for Elora. I'll try to get those pictures posted soon, along with some pictures from DisneyLand :)

Happy Halloween

So Elora did enjoy dressing up in a costume. She, however, was not a fan of trick or treating. 22 months must be still too young. Better luck next year.
First after dressing up, we headed out to the back yard for some pictures.

Then, I figured we might as well try going to a house or two for candy.

The first house was easy. They just had a bowl full on the front step. So we grabbed a piece and headed off to the next house. We get to the next house, and Elora didn't stay on the front stoop long enough to even get a piece of candy. They opened the door and she took off.

Here's Elora after the second house trying to get to her one piece of candy. She couldn't pick it up because of the mittens on her costume and had a screaming melt down approximately 30 seconds after I snapped this picture. Then we went home.

Here's one from last year. Wow she's growing up fast
