Elora had a follow up appointment on her eyes

and while she cried and screamed the whole time, Dr. Clark was able to check her out. She screams with her eyes open :)

12 weeks after surgery and they look great. We'll go back again in October, just to make sure they're still on track, but I think she's all fixed!  And so far, I haven't really had her out in really bright sunny weather, but I think she's ditched the wink too!  100_1181   100_1195100_1190100_1197

Both kids had doctors appointments this week, Vincent had his one month appointment on Monday and Elora had her 2 year visit today. Vincent weighs 9 lbs and has gained an inch in height. Elora is up to 29 pounds and is 35 inches tall. Elora has been to the doctors office many times in her short life (not only to the zillion pediatric well visits with normal doctor, but she also has a dermatologist and an ophthalmologist), and she despises it! Today when they called her name in the waiting room to head back to see the Dr., she laid down on the floor, face down crying and saying "NO!" She continued to scream her little head off the entire time the nurse took her temperature and weighed and measured her. (actually it took 2 nurses because she was so uncooperative)
When Dr. Onan came in, it was the same thing all over again. She was fine while he was talking to me and I thought I had her calmed done pretty well, she was coloring with markers and paper i had brought her. But once he leaned towards her with the stethoscope, the crying/screaming started right back up. Luckily, no shots this time. Thank Goodness!

And Monday, it's back to the eye doctor for her 12 week post op check on her eyes. joy.  more screaming/crying.

Then we went to Mimi and Poppy's to get Vincent. Alfred had dropped him off there on his way to work and Dad babysat for me. I still haven't officially had both E and V out in public at the same time, by myself. I'm a little scared to.

Here are some fun pics playing outside there.
