We’ve been here about 3 weeks now and it’s been great!. We still have a garage full to unpack, but there’s plenty of time for that. I’m really liking living in Westfield. We’re walking distance to the sprinkler park and post office. The grocery store and the library are only a 2 minute drive. I love being so close to a 24 hour grocery store! It’s wonderful. My commute to work takes about 5 minutes more than before, but Alfred’s drive takes about 15 minutes less. Mom and Dad are 5 miles away….Chris just bought a new house too and he’s only about a half mile away from us. Hmmm….wonder if he’d like to do some baby sitting every now and then…Oh and did I mention this place has a pool? The kids and I have already swum tons. Today Elora and I went out while Vincent was napping. This may be one of the last times we get in this year, the weather is about to turn cool- But today was hot! I think it got close to 100 degrees. We were joined by Hoppy- the toad. I guess he wanted to cool down too. He jumped in and swam around, but then looked like he was having a hard time jumping out. This was the second time I’ve rescued a toad from the pool. Not sure if it was the same one again or not. 
This is what the pool looks like when we are not in it. We keep it closed at all times unless we are swimming in it. It has an automatic pool cover that will hold up 400 pounds. Gives me a big piece of mind…you know, with my maniac little boy running around.
